Drive On Finance — Where it all started
Simon and Grant knew each other long before there was a business idea. They shared a love of cars, a competitive streak, and the kind of ambition that makes you believe you should probably build something rather than just work somewhere.
Life eventually nudged them toward the asset finance industry. It wasn't a carefully mapped plan. It was a mix of timing, opportunity, and their genuine interest in the automotive world.
Once they were in it, they saw the same thing many people in the industry see.
Great people.
Great businesses.
But systems and processes that hadn't kept up.
In 2015 they launched Drive On Finance, an asset finance company built on relationships, trust and a willingness to do things properly.

Drive IQ — Instinct meets innovation
Working inside the industry gave them a clear view of where the real problems lived. Applications moved between platforms. Communication was scattered. Fulfilment was slow. Too many good people were spending time fighting systems instead of helping customers.
It became clear that solving those problems properly meant building better technology. So in 2020, Drive IQ was created.
The focus shifted from simply writing finance to building the infrastructure that could connect dealers, brokers, lenders and OEMs in a smarter way. Systems designed by people who actually understood how the industry worked.

Lodge — The missing piece
As the platform evolved, new pieces of the finance journey were brought into the ecosystem. Lodge was launched as a fulfilment solution designed to help partners move deals from approval through to delivery more efficiently.
It became the missing piece that turned complex workflows into seamless outcomes for our partners.

youX is born — Everything, unified
By 2023 the platform, products and team had grown well beyond the original structure.
Drive IQ became youX, bringing the technology, products and vision together under a single brand. Lodge evolved into youXlodge, continuing to work alongside the platform as a dedicated fulfilment partner within the broader ecosystem.
