youX and Metro Finance Partner to Accelerate Metro's Dealer Finance Expansion
Metro Finance enters the dealer channel through the youX platform: quote, comparison and application in one flow, while the customer is still in the showroom.

Metro Moves Into the Showroom
youX has partnered with Metro Finance to deliver a point-of-sale finance platform into the dealer channel, giving Metro a direct presence in the showroom for the first time at scale.
The partnership embeds Metro within the youX platform, connecting customer, dealership and lender in a single journey. Dealers can capture a finance enquiry at the point of sale, explore suitable finance structures and progress the application straight to Metro — keeping the conversation moving while the customer is still in the showroom.
One Flow, From Enquiry to Application
The platform returns an indicative quote and carries the customer from enquiry through to application in a single flow. Completed applications route directly to Metro for decisioning.
youX Chief Commercial Officer Matt Perry said the platform was built to compress the time between a customer's enquiry and a finance answer.
Speed is what wins the deal in a showroom. Quote, compare and submit all happen in one flow, so the business manager can give a customer a real answer in minutes rather than chasing one after they have left.
A dealer can put several structures in front of a customer in the same conversation — ownership, upgrade, cash flow — and let them choose. That is a better conversation than a single take-it-or-leave-it number.
Metro's Multi-Channel Expansion
Metro Finance is one of Australia's leading independent non-bank asset finance lenders, having financed more than $14 billion in loans for over 120,000 customers since inception. It works through a national network of introducer partners, offering commercial asset finance, consumer car finance, novated leasing and sustainable finance.
That introducer network remains central to the business. Moving into dealer finance adds a second pathway for growth and customer acquisition rather than replacing the first.
Metro Chief Executive Officer David Albest said the partnership represents the next step in Metro's multi-channel growth strategy.
Our introducer network remains fundamental to Metro's business, and our expansion into dealer finance is the next step in building a broader multi-channel distribution model. It gives us the opportunity to support more customers at the point they are making a finance decision, while providing dealers with a faster and more streamlined way to connect those customers with Metro.
This partnership combines Metro's lending capability with technology that enables faster, more efficient finance conversations in the showroom, while maintaining the credit discipline, customer focus and service standards we apply across the business.
The Age of Convenience
youX Chief Executive Officer Simon Penhaligon said the partnership reflected the company's broader vision for a more connected automotive finance ecosystem.
We're in the age of convenience. Customers expect things to be simple and fast, and dealers and lenders need technology that helps them deliver that.
That's what the youX platform is designed to do — remove friction and create a more efficient finance experience for the buyer, the dealer and the lender, right at the point of sale.
Bringing Metro onto the platform is a great example of that. The dealer can have the finance conversation while the customer is there, Metro can participate at the point the customer is making their decision, and the customer gets a simpler, faster experience. Everyone benefits.
The Platform Behind the Partnership
youX operates an asset-finance technology ecosystem used by dealer groups, OEMs and digital marketplaces across Australia, connecting dealerships, customers and lenders through one integrated platform so dealers can manage more of the finance journey in one place.
With more than 1.2 million applications processed, the platform's analytics layer draws on more than $6.5 billion in annual asset finance data, giving participating dealers visibility of conversion, channel performance and finance penetration across their network.
The partnership is expected to go live in October, with an initial rollout across selected dealership locations before wider release.
